it looks like i've become your latest best friend
and so my heart is bleeding once again
i should have cought on to the joke
too bad the punchline was my heart being broke
im not understanding you and this is getting old
some stories are too tough to unfold or ever be told
i'd rather not love and loose if given the choice
and sometimes id rather i never herd your voice
then i wouldnt be begging the pain to go away
and i would have never believed the words i herd you say
still my heart is bleeding once again
i cant go on being just your friend
