All I Want For Christmas

Contributed by desolantdreamer on Wednesday, 7th December 2005 @ 02:50:25 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

For so long I've waited
For the mistletoe to grow
And hang above your head
So then I could kiss your sweet lips
And feel their gentle touch
So paitently I await
For that sweet winter time
When I could do the impossible
Without a single blush
I would sing a soft melody
And dance with you, my sweet
And tell to your face the secret I've held in
I don't want new clothes and gifts
Or expensive presents from my family
The only thing I want this Christmas
Is the same as the years before
You can't wrap it up
And top it with a bow
What I want for Christmas
Costs not a thing
You can't shake it to see inside
Or unwrap it from paper
All I want for Christmas
Is you

*starts singing that song "All I Want For Christmas"*

This poem is definately more poetic than the song, but now that song is going to be stuck in my head :D

Lovely poem honestly :D

Love ya,
~Kiela~
