SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE

Contributed by jessejames on Tuesday, 6th December 2005 @ 08:31:52 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

I CAN'T PREDICT THE FUTURE
AND I CAN'T CHANGE THE PAST
EVER SINCE YOU'VE BEEN GONE
THE GOOD TIMES NEVER LAST

WHEN GOD CALLED YOU HOME
FOR WEEKS I WASN'T RIGHT
AND I KNOW IT SOUNDS A LITTLE CRAZY
BUT I SAW YOUR FACE IN THE MIRROR LAST NIGHT

WHEN THAT STRONG WIND OF FATE FINDS MY SAIL
I'LL BE IN FOR A LONG LONG RIDE
BUT NO MATTER WHERE I END UP GOING
I KNOW I'LL SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE

LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU DAD

a lovely tribute to your dad. As we were talking about the other night, this sort of loss stays within us and we just move on each day but never a moment goes by we dont think about and miss them. He is nearby and watching over you my friend.

Huge huge hugssss

Michelle
