Over one day’s circle
I’ve turned 100 degrees
Losing my piece of patience
On the split second chance of a win
Golden eyes leaning on me
Too bright and dazzling for me to see
Love is deep in the golden one
Reserved for the one with an eagle on his chest
And a halo round his head
Testing friendship on a daily basis
Lot’s of using and lots of abusing
Not once has it happened
The foresight of loss
Break it wide open force the lock
Help me glue the pieces back as one
Never meaning, just wanting some fun
Leaving sheltered souls in the wake of your sun
I’ve peeled the skin from my hand
Offering it to you
Slowly touching you felt wishing as I do
Some other cards were dealt
And we would make it through
