These Four walls encircling me,
Have tied their hands around
My throat
And have watched me grieve
my star.
Newspapers were clipped from my hands
As I carefully searched for answers
In the prints own article,
Inside of itself.
These walls have watched as I craved my records and files.
As my husband walked in…
There was no love…
Just fear…

Hey, I think it's good, good job on the A... it's always neat to read
poems written on things like this. We had to do it in creative writing in
high school - read an article and write a poem on it : called it a 'found poem'.
I enjoyed this.
