I want to sail across the gulf
That separates you and I.
I want to come back home to you,
Oh please dear, let me try!
I want to hold you in my arms.
I want to pat your hips.
I want to reacquaint myself
With your toes up to your lips.
Oh won’t you open arms to love,
To find a world of joy?
So happily could you be my girl,
And let me be your boy?
I want to build a mighty bridge,
To connect our distant shores.
Then I’d meet you in the middle,
If you’d take me home as yours!
