Choices

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

You walked into my life,
and then you ran away.
You left me in the dark,
in the middle of the day.

Now, you are silent.
You said so much to me.
Then you built a wall.
What does it all mean?

My ego torn in tatters.
My mind is blown away.
Feeling like the living dead,
I'm lost for words to say.

So confusing are your games,
I do not want to play.
It's my choice to decide.
I have to have my say.

I'm not sure what I want to do.
But I know I don't want this pain.
I don't need to suffer.
Don't need to feel ashamed.

I can change my life.
It is my life to change.
If I don't want you in my life,
would you feel the pain?

But that doesn't matter.
I don't need you to exist.
If I don't want you in my life,
your presence won't be missed.

This is my choice.
This is my decision.
I have my own dream.
I have my own vision.

Wow this is really really good.
I especially love the part
"You left me in the dark,
in the middle of the day"
It's such a crazy thought...I love it!

Keep up the good work!
