Michael

Contributed by Christy on Thursday, 11th July 2002 @ 01:09:26 PM in AEST
Topic: FamilyPoems

Michael you have taught me,
About love, kindness, and friendship,
And the thing that was so special about the way you taught me,
Was you taught it without words

You show your love for everyone,
By giving them a hug,
And you know that a hug can make someone’s day,
All of a sudden turn around.

If people got to know you,
I know they would feel the same way,
And like your sister Loni said…
“Michael is like an orange,
If you get past the rough skin,
You’ll get to the sweet aroma and wonderful taste within."

The sweet tangy aroma and the wonderful taste,
Is all the love, kindness, and friendship,
Michael shows every day.
But unlike the orange,
Everything Michael has to offer,
Will keep going on forever.

Christy through your poem I can feel the special bond you and Michael have with each other. This poem was wonderful, and very touching.
