The bitter end transpired into my comatose.
Feelings fabricated, but never vanished.
In my soul you roamed
Softly whispering
My body walked on,
But my heart never seemed to follow.
Others ceased to entice the passion.
Smiles that showed an imitation of happiness.
As the tears seemed to fade, there you appeared.
True happiness still out of reach.
I concentrate on your lullaby of simplicity.
Reminded of why I was caught within your mesh.
Questioning fate.
Wanting this time to be different
Dare I indulge.

A sad, heart breaking write penned so well. I like the way you've presented this. You captivate the reader and you make them feel the sadness and pain that you are feeling.

This is great, my kinda style. I loved your line "My body walked on,
But my heart never seemed to follow." I often feel the same way about myself.
