I SHOT HER DOWN

Contributed by outlaw_mutiny on Monday, 5th December 2005 @ 07:58:30 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I WOKE UP THIS MOURNING AND GRABBED THAT SNUB NOES REVOLVER FROM UNDER MY HEAD
AND PUT A BULLET RIGHT BETWEEN HER EYES AND MADE HER PAY FOR THEOSE DIRTY LIES
AND FINALY MADE TRUTH OF THE THINGS SHE SAID

YEAH I SHOT HER DOWN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DOOR WAY
DIDNT LET HER TALK DIDNT WANT TO HEAR WHAT SHE'D SAY
I SHOT HER DOWN CAUSE SHE MADE ME SAD
NOW SHES DEAD AND GONE.... AND THATS JUST TOO BAD

JUSTICE WILL BE SERVED SAID MY OLD MAN
BUT SOMETIMES WE GOTTA TAKE THINGS IN OUR OWN HANDS
I THINK DAD WAS RIGHT SO THATS JUST WHAT I DID
I MADE HER PAY AND SO WHAT IF I PAY WITH A LIFE LONG BID
IM TELLING YOU NOW IT'S DAMN WELL WORTH IT
CAUSE I PUT A BULLET RIGHT BETWEEN HER EYES AND SHE DAMN WELL DESERVED IT

THEN THE SHARIFF SPOTTED ME IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TOWN
AND TOLD ME TO PUT MY HANDS AND KNEES RIGHT THERE ON THE GROWND
I SOULD HAVE DONE JUST WHAT HE SAID TO DO
INSEAD I GRABBED THAT REVOLVER AND PUT A BULLET BETWEEN HIS EYES TOO
NOW LIFE IN PRISON IS HARDER THAN IT MAY SOUND
BUT AN EASY PRICE TO PAY FOR PUTTING THAT LYING ***** 6 FT. IN THE GROUND
