anguished
|
go to your corner
of the room
hide your head
from all the world's gloom
it's quiet here
all alone because...
no one ever comes
no one understands
the terror
no one speaks of it
anyway
try to hide all this
insanity
living in society's haze
cannot cope at times
with the rigors
of this life
wishing...
all the time
just had a place
to hide
need to go to the corner
hide my face in shame
beating my head
on the wall
for I'm the only one...
to blame

Oh, I've felt like this before.
Great read Laura, well worth the time it took to write.

Aw, Laurabeam, I think I know where you're coming from on this one. I feel I can really relate to it. Very nicely written. Very powerful and sad.
*ginormous hug*
Loves ya'.

Oh Laura, hun. . .
this was too sad almost to read. The piece itself seemed to
have taken as long to write as the process to extract thought
and make sense of ourselves ...
Thank you for sharing this one and may I say I find you not
just one of the friendliest YPDCers, but one on the bravest
as well. *hugs you tight*
