Trying to impress them,
Not knowing how to address them.
Hoping that they like me,
Hoping that theyre proad of me.
Trying to be perfect in their eyes,
Praying they dont hear my cries.
Pushing away any doubt,
So they cant see what im about.
Covering who i am with a mask,
So that no one needs to ask.
They know enough to keep them happy,
Even if it isnt all there is to see.
No one sees anything wrong,
Cuz its been a secret all along.
I dont want them to see the bad,
I dont want themto see me mad.
I want them all to think im fine,
As long as they dont hear me whine.
I dont usually say it aloud,
But i just want to make them proud.
