Thinking Of You

Contributed by tygaz21 on Monday, 5th December 2005 @ 04:23:34 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Love has gone away
A thing of the past
All had been good
Too good to last

What happens now
What happened then
What fell apart
Why did it end

You’ve gone away
I’m standing here now
Thinking what happened
Thinking of how

How could I lose you
You were perfect, you see
Your eyes glowing brightly
You smiled at me

You said we’d last forever
You said we’d grow old
Alone now I stand here
With no one to hold

Our anniversary was today
I’m thinking of you
The games we used to play
The things we used to do

We’d walk out in a storm
Rain soaked our hair
You smiled because I kissed you
I smiled because you were there

You were there in my sorrow
There in my glee
There for me always
So happy and free

But now I cant see you
Your hidden from view
Yesterday you left me

I’m thinking of you

Not bad for structure and flow, however, the subject and content are pretty generic.
