The Love Story

Contributed by poetrygirl1991 on Sunday, 4th December 2005 @ 12:03:07 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

She walked to the end of the street, a few blocks from her house...she waited there until he showed up. He ran up to her and gave her a hug and a kiss on the forehead. her eyes were all red and he asked her what was wrong. All she could say was "nothing". he held her in his arms again and said "baby you know you can tell me anything", and she said "yeah i know that i just dont wanna get hurt again". And he said "what do you mean you dont wanna get hurt again, i would never hurt you...i love you." she said "thats what i was afraid of..."and he said "why were you afraid that i would fall in love with you?" she said "Because ive had men tell me that before and then in the end my heart just ended up broken and i cant handle that happening again...why dont you just go"the boy said "because i know that i could never hurt you" and the girl said " well ive got my heart broken too many times to let you into my life, i dont know if i can handle anyother heartbreak" "well what if i told you that you are the only thing thats ever on my mind, the only person i can ever think about and your eyes light up my world, what if i told you that everytime i look at the stars i wonder if your looking at them too, and that everytime a love song comes on the radio, it reminds me of you, what if i told you that everytime its raining i wish i could be with you in the middle of the street, just the two of us dancing in the rain, and that everytime i look into your eyes my heart nearly breaks knowing that their not mine to look at, what if i told you ive loved you for some time and that yeah i know exactly what you mean and that ill listen that ive also had my heart broken before, i love you" and the girl started crying and hugged him and he held her there for a little while and whispered in her ear "its gonna be okay , what happened, i love you, im not like all the other heart breaks you 've been through, i wont be a heart breaker i can promise you that" and she kissed him for a little while and the rain started pouring down and she said"this is exactly like my dream last night, you and i were together and you whispered in my ear i love you, we kissed and then the rain started pouring down and you asked me to dance, and when i woke up this morning my heart nearly broke cause i didnt think you felt like that for me, because ive loved you for a long time, thats why i was crying" and he said "may i have this dance?" "yes" she replied and they danced till the rain stopped and he walked her home and they kissed eachother good night and he handed her a note before he left. once he left the girl read the note it said
Last night i thought about us and i really want us to be together ive had alot of heartbreaks in the past but i think you and me could make it through if you feel the same for me ...i love you (and it said his number) she called him that night and they made plans....and told eachother how much they each dreamt about that moment that they would actually be together...and how they each never thought it would actually happen.

lets just say that even though heartbreaks hurt , you'll move on and there eventually will be that one person that will never break your heart
