All the pain I’ve endured
Over these past years
Seems to have cured
Cured most of my fears
My tears were there
For all to see
People would stare
Cold eyes towards me
No one could understand
So much going for him
They said, not helping a hand
How could his smile be so dim?
But I tell you what
If there’s one thing I’ve learned
From being in a rut
It’s that soon, it’s my turn
Life comes around
Bad times become good
Tears fall to the ground
Staining the wood
So life’s good right now
For how long, no clue
You never know how
But pain always comes back to you
So please have lots of fun
And learn from your tears
Just like watching the sun
It’ll get easier with years

I wish I could write a poem to remember the long ago days when I was actually free from my self torment. This is such a great poem that I am actually jealous.
Great write! |
