I wish i could just take your hand
and together run away
we would be so much happier
and be together every day
i would take you to a wonderful place
one that is completely grand
where it's just you and i
and i can met your every demand
a place where our love is accepted
and everyone agrees
a place where we are in control
and we can do as we please
the kind of place you can only dream of
with us playing around in the sand
with beautiful ocean water
the prettiest in the land
a place meant for you and i
where we can have fun
and not worry about who is watching
not to worry about anyone
a place where i can hold you tight
show you a life and make things right
a place where we will never fight
a place we can go, let's leave tonight!!

for you and i to run away
and leave the world behind
so I'm asking baby, what do you have to say?
i just want to love you
to be with you when ever i please
we are meant to be, you and i, together
I'm begging, let's go, I'm on my knees
just trust me this time baby

hey baby... i don't know about this one, it just kinda came to me when i was thinking about us... gah, the slightest thought of u brings a smile across my face... i love u so much baby... u r my one and only... i love u with all my heart baby & i just want to be able to kiss u & hold u & not have to worry about u getting upset or anything b/c of people... i love u & i cud careless about people... i understand where Ur coming from tho, & i don't mean to get upset, but it did hurt my feelings today, & I'm sorry for getting upset.... u mean the world to me... i had a lot of fun w/ u today... i love u my beautiful baby girl... :*:*:*:*:*

Good write. The one thing I have learned in life. Never care about what people think and say. Never conform to their standards. They are not living your life, not making your decisions. Those who scoff at us, are those who would die to be scoffed at. I say forget them. Let life live like it should. Life is the longest thing you will ever do, so why make it worse by worrying about other people. The poem is awsome, but in some ways, it says you want to run and hide from the world, when it is the world that is hiding from you. Great write though....

| I admire your wanting to just screw everyone else and run off with your love. ^_^ I definitely know this feeling. This should be a song...but, wouldn't you think that running away and hiding from everyone would make you beat? If I was in your place, I would just stand up against the world and say, "Stick that in yer pipe and smoke it." But, I LOVE your poem in the sense that love is so strong that being "wrong" to the world oftentimes makes it "right." |
