Fallen Angel

Topic: oops

Nobody realises,
Nobody cares,
I’m stuck in the middle,
With a mountain of stairs.

I was an angel,
Once before,
But they robbed my wings,
And I hit the floor.

Nobody,
Will give me a chance,
To return to heaven,
To smile to prance.

Why don’t they listen?
I have dark secrets to tell,
They just ignore me,
As I slip deeper to hell.

I cannot laugh,
I cannot feel,
Don’t ignore this poem,
It is for real…

I usually don't read poetry that someone asks to be read. I don't know why...I guess it seems needy. Well hell, Something made me stop and read and I am glad I did....My favorite part was the first stanza:
Nobody realizes
Nobody cares
I'm stuck in the middle
With a mountain of stairs
Great lines...and I can relate to that feeling. Peace to you, Laura
