crying out

I'm screaming and yelling
I'm crying out
but there's no one here
to hear me shout
for I'm all alone
in this place of darkness
where hope is extingueshed
and strong is my sadness
the shadows trap me
keeping me in this place
so that never again
I'll have a smile on my face
can anybody hear me
is there anyone out there?
will anyone help me
out of this nightmare?
