Evil for Good

Contributed by jessejames on Thursday, 1st December 2005 @ 05:55:11 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

i have put my past behind me
still no matter where i try to hide
a reminder always seems to find me
i think i bumped my head when i fell from grace
im not sure where i landed
but i feel entirely out of place
i'm battle scared tried and true
being the bad guy takes its toll
when you do the things i use to do
my body concists of tattoes and scars
from visiting those ink shops
and fighting in them smokey bars
carpi diem says the writting on my chest
i've been living life my own way
but i never said my way was the best
so im standing here at the end of the road
more scared than ever before
trusting god to carry my load
it's no fun being missjudged and missunderstood
only us bad guys can know what it's like
to be trading in our evil for good

I applaud your honesty throughout this write.
Your style is a added plus as well.

We cannot live in the past but learn from it and move forward. Your heading that way
