We Call it Christmas Day

It is the first day of December
And we all knows
What that means
Children
Young and Old
Get all
Excited
Adults shop for
Presents
Spend Money and give treats.
The Christmas season is a upon us
To bad it doesn't stay all year long
Folks get extra generous
With their Money
And their
Hearts .
Digging a little deeper
Into their Pockets
Giving a bit more
Continuing in
Faith
Believing in True
Christmas Cheer.
Oh There are
Those few
Scrooges
Who have a heart like
Grinch.
But we must feel sorry for them
And pity them
For if they only
Knew
How to care for
Themselves
And Others
The meaning Of
Christmas
Comes
From Deep
Within.
Yes its Christmas
In Cities,
Towns
and
All Lands
Night skies
And Bright Stars
Are All a Bust.
Decorations
Garnishes
And Special Planned
Christmas
Meals
A gathering of
Family and Friends
Some Old
Some New
Some
You
Will never see again.
And All the Colored
Twinkling lights
Hanging
Somewhere on a Tree
A nice warming hearth,
As We tell of the Babe
That was
Born
On
That Silent Night
So here's a simple Christmas Wish
Wishing Peace and Joy to All
And may The New Year be Merry
And
MUCH
More Love
Be shared
Whisper Have A Merry Christmas

I really enjoyed this, and I was shocked that you could write something so long without it sounding drawn out. |
