unmarked graves

Contributed by lostrelic on Thursday, 1st December 2005 @ 03:25:29 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

crest to crest we try our best to hold the hand of time
but each day it fades away just left with a pocket of dimes

hurt and sad we feel so mad at fate that society creates
but in the end we all cane in with possessions to incriminate

city streets the rhythmic beat trespassers of all kinds
seeing the faces old and worn we wonder about our time

lost flock at deaths door we knock the nature of our hearts
but yearning we new all about always from the start

unmarked graves of broken dreams the list to high to count
fallen child ran the mile it caught with out a doubt

tears you cry and people die this is all a thing called life
your not the only one who has thought about the knife

some have it easy some make it hard this is what we do
then some of us live like we must the stuff we really go threw

but what do you expect a home and a spouse millions in the bank
feeling cozy life's a dream happy in your tank

privacy and serrinity your face on every stand
past white and out of shape just trying to get a tan

spouse is a whore and your intern wants more but sex seemed just so right
headline news live on cnn your family watches your maritial fight

and in the end you start fresh again they took all you had
listening to the city beats anger driving you mad

lets all be true in what we do don't let the petty get in
then in your end you can start again this time you will win
