you and I tear in two
like all papers do
a page from a storybook --
(by me and by you)
then we're burnt with the trash
left cold in the ash
'til we're broken by wind --
(where we'll scatter and dash)
then we fly down the street
with our eyes to our feet
both walking alone,
like we never did meet.

nice and simple, and the symbolism worked well to depict something a lot more complicated |

This was good.. i liked it cuz it was simple and short but yet behind it was a deeper meaning that could be constructed to fit the readers interpretation...
