At six am I awake
Cork my chance into a blue mist wine bottle
And throw it over the edge of a ship
Whose geography changes constantly
Thrown into the chaotic ocean waves
For another sailor to find
A chance I didn't need
And never wanted
This is a metaphor
For everything I've thrown away
Eyes wide open
And heart understanding
What I want
Is not this chance
I have corked into a blue mist bottle
But a chance I want some other traveller to have
