sitting alone in your chair
emptiness is your only friend
wishing i was still there
praying your heart can mend
your eyes watch the telephone
you hope it will ring
you cant stand being alone
it's your least favorite thing
wondering just where i am
if im thinking of you
if i'd give a damn
that your feeling so blue
sitting alone in your chair
with extra lonlyness to lend
hoping that i still care
praying this isn't the end

Very good start to a excellent poem. But I’m wondering if it would't be more effective
written in the first person? Just a thought. Very good work! Enjoyed reading your work.
