Toxic love...

Contributed by In_a_While on Tuesday, 29th November 2005 @ 04:20:59 PM in AEST
Topic: drugabuse

Sand her skin, make smooth within
I'll wish upon her pain
Help her smell, through straws of hell
Must i bear the same?

A cigarette, smoke silhouette
We float under the flame
Snort a vine, that leads to mine
Am i not to blame?

Pills and pillows, smoke that billows
I sit in silence dying
I made her me, or did we agree?
Either way, i'm crying.

I met her there on stairs to heaven
I never knew i'd follow
We carried our addiction
unto a grey tomorrow
Now i wish i'd sleep
forever until i fade
I'll carry my decision
to a pill-owed grave...

I never knew i'd follow
We carried our addiction
unto a grey tomorrow
Now i wish i'd sleep
forever until i fade
I'll carry my decision

beautiful as always. Is this about your current relationship with "candy" ;) and you two enjoying drugs together and that inevitable guilt of yours. Perhaps you dragged her into something-regardless of her compliance and readiness. It was your idea, you're responsible?

If my suspicion is true- may you know dw that we are all inclined to assume guilt but those of us that are tormented by it unnecessarily are pure at heart and just so damn lost. I hope you realize the treachery of addiction in whatever form and i wish for the sake of your miraculous talent that you will fight your addictions.

WoW Dwayne, this is a very deep and very sad write. I have to totally agree with *weeping_prophet's* comments. He sums it all up.

I met her there on stairs to heaven
I never knew i'd follow
We carried our addiction
unto a grey tomorrow
Now i wish i'd sleep
forever until i fade
I'll carry my decision
to a pill-owed grave...
