The Reborn Macbeth

Amid the filth of the world is a long, distant cry,
Not once was it heard for the curses and lies.
They echoed into the night, into trees, into skies;
From the small voice unheard is a slow, sad goodbye.
From the depth of my heart I bid you farewell;
A solemn good night to the dark where you’ll dwell.
Though your ear will be greased with the lies they will tell,
I call you to laugh at the world where you fell.
You gave lesson to all who witnessed your death;
Their wonder and pain come forth with each breath.
With a smile on your face you will give them their Seth…
You were the tyrant, the strong, the reborn Macbeth.
