Grief

You were always there
So full of life and carefree
In fact, you never even
Brushed your teeth
But that didn’t matter
Not one bit because
You had perfect teeth.
Then one day
You slowed down and
You saw a doctor,
He said one thing
That no-one wants to hear
CANCER
You came home with tears
In your eyes. I knew this
Wasn’t right, you never cry.
You sat us down and said
The one word that you
Never thought of
We all were crying
Months went by
You slept more and
Didn’t do a lot of stuff.
Only 3 more months
Said the doctor but
Us Robson’s never
Listen to a doctor.
You lived another year
Then one night I wished
Upon a star that you
Would get better.
That morning you died.
I am 17 and I still miss
You more then ever.
If I could have just
One more wish it
Would be for you to get this.
"I love you daddy."

I had tears reading your sad and heartfelt write. I'm so sorry for your loss.
If I could have just
One more wish it
Would be for you to get this.
"I love you daddy."
Chin up for he'll be smiling down at you from heaven.
*heartfelt hugs for you*
