Sitting in my bedroom
I think of all the pain
And remember all the doom
Sitting, staring at the bloodstain
I remember when I was all alone
No one to help me and no one to save me
The sharpness of my pain could’ve cut through stone
My best friend was a razorblade times three
I’m dark, cold, angry and mean
And I’m crushed at the bottom of the chain
On the outside I appear bubbly and keen
But just scratch the surface and release the pain
As I slide the razorblade across my hand
I stand there and watch the blood run free
I feel no pain but I can barely stand
And as I smear the blood, I can be me
That’s the inside workings of a cutter
It’s me they despise
And I begin to stutter
But my whole life’s a disguise
