Lost and Found

Contributed by sweetpixiegrl on Sunday, 27th November 2005 @ 08:08:11 PM in AEST
Topic: ChristianPoetry

A cry for help is heard in a dark silent room
Nothing around for miles, but stars and night moon
As i draw closer now to this faint plea it seems
A young woman in sorrow for her many lost dreams
She fears her life will end without a single hope
Her life appears useless...she is unable to cope
I quietly come closer to her in this lonley room
She sees my shadow and i now feel her doom
She asks me if I have come to take away her pain
I am only a messenger of love for you , i explain
God has sent me as an angel to tell you of a better way
He wants to heal your broken heart and give you peace today
All you need to do is pray a simple prayer and believe
That Jesus died for your sins and His love you will receive
She smiled at me for an instant and began to cry again
Thank you for saving my life angel, it was about to end
Together we prayed a prayer and now we both wept
Another lost soul going to heaven and another promise kept
