BReaTHe iN THe FLaMeS

Contributed by GorgeousXWaste on Sunday, 27th November 2005 @ 01:05:36 PM in AEST
Topic: drugabuse

Deeply inhale the black smoke cloud
Forcefully exhale the singeing pains
In this hostile field of the most obvious crowds
We leave some memorable death stains

Expelled from your lungs violently into the palm of your hand
Haunting the creases of your worst dreams and fears
Hidden beneath otherworldly sights and lands
Never safe from the screaming voices of peers

The flame is enormous and out of control
Heating the candy that changes your body's delicate flow
Place the fire of stupidity under the bowl
Get your hit, your kicks and wait for the start of the show

Your head disconnects from your body in seconds
Mind in a million different directions
The voices are calling, you keep hearing them beckon
You're lost in a world, on this road, with no sense of protection

The high starts to fade
And in the blink of an exhausted eye
Some sort of unconscious sinning of the razorblade
Uncontrollably all you can think to do is cry

Breathe in the flame, the heat of the fire
Cooking the dope in a irratic style
Seeping through esophogus with persistant desire
Down to your lungs where it stays for awhile

The blaze that it starts works its way through your veins
The drug is a poison of insanely foreign chemicals, part by part
It hooks you like an animal caught in the chains
And waits for the crash to release its grip on your rapid heart

Just keep breathing the flames and fueling the fire
The steady decay is a beautifully painted destruction
Hanging in plain view from the telephone wire
A feeling you feel of sudden embarrassment and reluction

Is it worth the blood, the loss, the side effects?
Is it worth the incredible fear?
Is it worth the pain or the soul is quickly dissects?
Will the sight of freedom and the end be near?

Lighter and its flame
To the glass and our forbidden dope
You're the only one to blame
Will there ever be any hope?

Peace w/ hair grease,
