Dragon's Breath

Ancient trees, winter breeze,
Treasure sought in deep snow banks;
Secrets told, swords of old,
Made from the ice that hangs from roofs...
Steps are crisp, cocoa sips,
Dancing snowflakes in moonlight;
Autumn's death, dragon's breath,
The child's war, the warrior's quest.
Breathe my child, burn the air,
Slay the knight who raids your lair.
"Come home soon, my darling dear;
Bedtime's soon, your cocoa's here."

You are so talented dear, please keep writing of your childhood and the things to your heart that is near.
This reminded me so much of my own childhood, and the warm drink waiting for us when we were finished.
Loved your desciptions also!
Warm love
