The Balance

Contributed by AmyLee4Ever on Saturday, 26th November 2005 @ 06:30:50 PM in AEST
Topic: FriendshipPoetry

It’s time to remember all of the darkest times
Even if you free your tears fiercely
It’s a collision with your raging nightmares
But don’t you dare require cover
Find the horrid memories that bind you
Feel the ageless, blazing pain
Know that pain will forever hold you
Aren’t you angry from this?
Think of life without pouring tears
You’ll never have that
Now feel the craze drowning you
Now lose control
Stab your pain with your smiles
You’re now free
I’ve taught you something
Balance
Now do one thing
Live

An extraordinary write from such a young writer. Friends can sometimes, be the one thing that's there when the world goes dark. I tend to surround myself with my friends, while they know nothing about me - who I actually am, their always there for me, their basically my family. Great write. Hope to see more.

Hey Jodi, it's great to have u back girl.
This is an uplifting and very inspiring write. You say you aren't talented. You do yourself so much injustice my friend.
A very well written poem detailing the strength and ability of true friends when the going gets tough. Always a pleasure to read your work my very dear friend.
*tons of hugs*
