Snow lightly falls
Precious gems
Sparkling in the moonlight
Millions of children dream
Dreams of delight
It won't be long till Santa calls
The north wind blows
With all his might
Ho ho ho and nobody knows
The sled and deer retied for flight
Daintly red trimmed with white
Mrs. Claus shudders
The north wind gives a shiver of fright
"Never ever such nasty weather"
Oh,Santa oh Santa be especally careful
Reason unknown I'm extra worried this year
Now the wind is cold, bitter and sheer
The snow was earlier so soft and gentle
I don't know I don't know Santa said
Do be careful Nicholas dear
Santa readied his sled
Taking off with a "merry Christmas and a happy new year
All the elves waved to Santa good-bye
Then they headed to the workshop
Mrs. Claus waved with a tear in her eye
A little elf helped her with a song and a hop
The cold wind was swirling
It was snowing harder than ever
Blinding
Never never such weather
Rudolf's nose was as red as could be
No lights shown up from earth below
Santa just couldn't see
The north wind blew and blew
Over our city and Santa didn't even know
Rudolf cried even he couldn't help
Blinded and oh so cold
Tence Santa loosened his belt
The winds got stronger
North east south and west seemed all the winds merged
Such terrible weather
Weather like this never before heard
Such a devastating noise
The winds swirled
Santa stayed rather calm and poised
Never wanting to frighten his leading herd
Suddenly they were caught in a giant swirl
Dancer cried "It's a Snownato
Round and round they went upsidedown in the whirl
Toys, presents, dollies flew too and fro
In a city Santa deer and sleigh came crashing down
There would be no Christmas this year
Santa had a broken leg scratches and a broken arm
Sled broken deer injured
Rudolf's nose was big and swollen
Santa was beside himself
The toys and gifts were all gone
Toys gifts thrown like like something off a shelf
Poor Santa he could do nothing
The wind just blew and blew
His thoughts for all the children was his hardest pain
Soon came a fireman crew
Paramedics tended Santa
An ambulance and staketruck came
Poor Santa saying somehow I have'ta
Santa couldn't he was lame
Toys were blown all over the world
Never never has there been such a weather feat
Gone all the deer elves and Santa's toil
'Tis the first time Santa was beat
The President sent Airforce One
All the churches and charities offered to pitch in
Santa sir I will personally fly you home
Mrs. Claus at home worried and frightened
All people around the whole world helped out
Gathering toys presents and gifts
Santa couldn't help but doubt
Everyone was dong their best
Even the Marines started the toys for tots
Soldiers sailers flyboys police firemen
Determined the children wouldn't be forgot
They all saw to it the children would win
At halls churches and even business
Round the world people went door to door
Late late at night so there would be a Christmas
Pleased O'Santa had millions of helper
The lesson in this is
There is more good than bad
There will always be a Christmas
Never again will our Santa have to feel sad

This was a delightlful little story Dennis. I enjoyed it greatly;.
Perhaps you noticed that overseas we have no Santa, but St. Nicolas and his feast is on the 6th of December. Exciting feast for the children. He gets them ready for the "Christchild" which is coming on the Eve of the 24th.
No danger here to get wind blown. No matter how bad the wheather is, - the divine child does not depend on it.
But the thought and philosophie is the same;
Kindhearted people takle the place of benefactors in the name of God, wherever that may be.
This poor Santa of your delightful story perhaps just got a lesson, of how independant God is of wheather conditions
availing Himself of any heart and hand open and available to do His bidding.
Your story is great!
Thanks a lot for sharing
Blessings and Happy New Year
