Greg And Phil
ONE DARK, COLD SATURDAY NIGHT
WHILE PLAYING WITH MY PHONE
I GOT THE BEST SUPIRSE EVER
A PHONE CALL TO SAY THEY WERE HOME
THEY HAD COME ALL THE WAY FROM BERRI
ABOUT A 9 AND A HALF HOUR DRIVE
I WAS IN SHOCK WHEN THEY ARRIVED
THEY GOT HERE VERY LATE BUT ALIVE
I HADNT SEEN THE BOYS SINCE APRIL
WHEN THEY TOOK MY BOYFRIEND AWAY
I DON’T CARE THAT THEY TOOK HIM
BECAUSE THEY SURPRISED ME TODAY
THE FIRST THING I DID WAS HUG THEM
I DIDN’T WANT TO LET GO
WHEN I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO SEE THEM NEXT
I REALLY DIDN’T KNOW
WE TRAVELLED INTO KINGSCOTE
TO FIND AND GRAB MY MATE CHRIS
THEY THEN LEFT THE ISLAND
ALL 3 OF THEM IM GOING TO MISS
GREG MADE ME SCREAM IN HAPPINESS
AND HIT MY HEAD ON A LIGHT
PHIL TOLD ME I HAD A SPIDER ON MY LEG
AND GAVE ME THE BIGGEST FRIGHT
THE PAIN OF WATCHING THEM LEAVE
MAKES ME WANT TO CRY
BUT AT LEAST YOU HAVE TO SAY THESE WORDS
YOU WILL HAVE TO SAY “GOODBYE”
