Of emerald trees
And winter breeze
How sweet the snowflakes fly
Those tiny tears of crystal lace
That watch the world go by
The only way to go is up
But they can only fall
Of winter dreams
And moonlight beams
A snowflake rises tall.

What a beautiful poem. Absolutely beautiful reminds me of my childhood when my worries were few. How I loved watching the snow fall and playing out while it snowed with my little brother in the front yard. That was a long time ago though :( when mother and stepfather were still together. |

A very nice poem of hopes & dreams. Enjoyed it very much. I loved the metaphor at the end of a snowflake rising tall.
Short & sweet.
Thank you for sharing,
