Dusty Road Of Sin

Contributed by justinblue on Thursday, 24th November 2005 @ 07:33:25 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

Iv'e lost focus I am loosing the fear
The wrong bumpy road is where I steer
I've desperately struggled my way out of the dark abyss
My soul the devil does miss
Demons persistantly dragging,pushing,pulling me back
Back to a place where inner joy and peace I lack
Old habits slowly slithering there way in
Leading me down the dusty road of sin
I have the power to stop it now
I must not give up and through in the towell
once I cruised the back roads of hell
And over and over again all I did was fail
Then I got aboard and rode the life train with everything to gain
Now once again I'm on the verge of destruction
And I have'nt even finished my reconstruction
Todays a sad day
Because of my recent actions I may pay
Please my mighty father
Forgive me
I have'nt been what you want me to be
I'm sorry I left you, and for my own will I do
Pease help guide and direct me in the right way
Help me find my way back to the smooth straight highway
I'm scared so damn scared
My life before I never cared
I'ts been so long since I've been scared
I love you Lord
Life without you I can't afford

Temptation is a nasty demon that never leaves us for long. You are seeking in the right direction to find guidance to help keep you from traveling down the dusty road of sin once again. This was a brilliant plea and expression of how easy it is to be misdirected through life. Nicely written.

Wonderful write. Love how you are able to put so much emotion into this. I can relate to this a little. Helps me understand where my sister is coming from. Good luck w/your life and never give up. Thans for sharing this w/us. Really puts things in perception for me
