Die Chicklet, Die

Contributed by thumbsucker on Thursday, 25th July 2002 @ 11:17:29 AM in AEST
Topic: HumorPoetry

"What was it Dad said? Something about gum...Mmmmmmmmmmmm Gum"

I wanted some gum, that`s how it began.
So I went in a store and asked the man,
"Pack of gum please." He gave Chicklets to me.
"Thanks." I said as I got out my car key.
Driving away, I was so unsuspecting.
An evil Chicklet I wasn`t expecting.
Among the other Chicklets, smart ones hide.
In my pack there was a monster inside,
just waiting for some poor fool to set free.
The evil Chicklet genius had plans for me.
He timed it just right to fall down my shirt.
Down my shirt and into my pants. The pervert.
He knew I couldn`t stand that. A brilliant scheme.
Looking down, I didn`t have time to scream.
With a hand down my pants, I drove into a tree.
Killed by a Chicklet, like my Dad before me,

and my poor Grandad too. Damn you Chicklets.

(Thumbsucker....Zero)....(Chicklets....Three)

Thanks evryone,
Just wanted to clear up the Chicklet riddle for you ginsdance.
They float, unless you smash `em up into little pieces first, just try to ignore their pitiful screams if you can.
They can be abit judgemental but they do make great listeners.
They come in different colors but I don`t have a favorite.......that would be racist.
They bounce depending on how far they`re dropped. From 8 stories up they can take an eye out. All those people with eye patches and glass eyes aren`t all pirates.
They tend to loose some of their flavor if they`ve been presucked.......avoid chewing ones you find on the sidewalk.
See what you`ve done Jennifer, you`ve got me going off on one of my rants again. I hope you`re happy. I wont be sleeping for days now.
Hope that answers all your Chicklet concerns. Treat them with respect, pretend to be looking the other way...they hate eye contact......hum loudly, and they`ll find you............ENOUGH ALREADY.........I better go before I get into their mating habits. Thumbsucker
