The friend that was lost inside

Contributed by suicidal_imbecile on Wednesday, 23rd November 2005 @ 11:44:34 AM in AEST
Topic: FriendshipPoetry

I never thought I would forget the frusteration
But I did
And where has that distinctively placed me?
Back in a hell hole
What did I think I would rediscover here?
Myself?
Only because I'm alone
My refugee is my home
I feel as though I can't say anything
nothing would make a difference
I would still be over looked, over heard
disregard me, you think im not important
What happened to your empathy
what happened to your emotions
What happened to the friendship
What happened to the relationship
Do you discriminate me for who I have become?
Or are you just blinded by incencerity
All these questions conqure my thoughts
My memories, my feelings, my outlook on life
I just need answers but i refuse to chase you
I never thought you would become one of them.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
