Light in the darkness for ever so bright
Light in the darkness light up my life
Touch me hold me feel me tonight
Show me your love and make things alright
I need you to come to come guide my way
To steady my breath as I run through each day
Looking for you as I reach through the night
The light of your love that lights up my life
In my existence darkness once dwelt
But you as my love you saved me from hell
You lifted me high on the light of your love
Emotions come as my memories flood
An essence of you my one and only true wish
In my memories mind were I feel your sweet bliss
Soon you will be mine and are lights will be one
Ever so stronger when we join hands as one

| Been there- Iraq- home now- you'll get here, so glad you didn't lose sight of whats important and keep the home love burning, I saw so many who lost that vision and strayed. You're wife should be proud knowing you serve and you love her so very much- stay safe and thank you for both your contribution of the beautiful poem but your contribution in Iraq as well. | I am just so thankful we have computers so that loved ones can get mail to them faster, to correspond back and forth and not have to wait for some horse to carry it to you. 50 days.... As you know I did melt into a puddle when I read this and I did cry. The words in this poem just make me feel how loved I am. I in awe of the way your portray your love for me, and of the way you see me as someone who can steady your breath and make you feel safe and loved. I am going to cry now just reading it again. Everytime I read it I see something more in it that I love. I am glad that I can be your light in the darkness. I love you with all of my heart.
