Why Can't I?

Contributed by CrystalTearsOfPain on Tuesday, 22nd November 2005 @ 10:05:27 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

You don't know this
And I can't tell you
When you stand near me
I feel like crying
And when you talk to me
I feel like I'm falling
And though we're friends
You've always known
I wanted more
I tried to ignore it
To just be fine
With pals and buddies
And for sometime now
It worked out well
But I don't know why
When you stand near me it's like hell
Tears come to my eyes
My heart rips open
It feels as if
I'm about to fall
Tension and pain
Like claustrophobia stricking
I have to leave the room
And breathe in the cold air
Why can't I stand by you?
Why can't I talk to you?
Like the old friends we were?
My heart is ripping into shreds
As I see you comming
To see why I'm so pale
And why I've been avoiding you
It's a living hell

ah, wow. i really liked this. You captured the feeling so well. i know exactly what you mean i am in the same problem. And I'm sorry to say i don't know what to do about your situation. But as a hopeless romantic, i believe it will work out. keep up the good work.
