Through the Eyes of Paranoia

Contributed by dark_fighter_chick on Tuesday, 22nd November 2005 @ 05:20:15 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

Everytime we hang up the phone,
I fear it's the last time i'll hear your voice
And everytime we say good-bye,
I fear it's for good, and i made the wrong choice
And when you hold me in your arms,
I fear i'll NEVER be happier then when i'm with you.
And when you tell me you love me,
I fear no one will ever love me the way you do
And when you wipe the tears from my eyes,
I fear you'll be the only one to truly care
And when you leave,
I fear you'll never return, and your no longer there
And when i cry at night, and your not around
I fear thats how it going to be,
I fear that i'll never be the same with out you,
I fear this will soon end and you wont remember me,
Fearing that i'll wake up and its all gone
And no how loud the broken glass of my heart screams,
I'll be alone with this empty heart you left me with
An empty heart for an empty soul, ripped at it's seams.

oh thats very good. I like the last line, it's different i've never heard it before. Dont worry, i think that your relationship will continue, this is just a test. keep hope, keep a still upper lip. and keep up the marvelous work.

awesome poem and i agree....while the future is very undetermined...it's best to take each test with a grain of salt so-to-say. i've been in your situation and thought i would die if i had to be apart for any longer...but amazingly i didn't lol and i actually came out a lot stronger and more confident. it's hard to see that possibility tho when you are looking "thru the eyes of paranoia" good luck and take care.

long distance relationships are very hard. I can understand why you have so many fears and I know that they are hard to ignore. For your own sake, keep strong and don't forget to keep living eventhough he isn't there.
