If tomorrow never comes

Contributed by Oceandreamer on Tuesday, 22nd November 2005 @ 06:24:32 AM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

Live today like it’s your last, release yesterday’s sorrow, it belongs to the past. Your well defined defenses leave no stone unturned. Yesterdays mask, your shield to the unknown. Don’t drown in yesterday’s tears; prisoner in your own cage …cage of fears. Heal those scars …like railways across your heart. Break free from the tie that binds …the chains of yesterdays sorrow, rapped around your heart. Yesterday has done its time, and gave way to a new Sun. Live today like it’s your last, for tomorrow, might never come… Live today like there’s no tomorrow …for tonight when you close your eyes, you’ll be swallowed by darkness, darkness without regret. Go where you want, do as you choose, say what you want, feel what you need, and love like there’s no tomorrow, for tomorrow might just be too late… Live only for today, it’s a moment …a unique moment in time. Speak every word as if it’s your last, it might just be your last chance …your final good bye. Don’t loose today in yesterday, or hope upon a better tomorrow. Choose today, for tomorrow, it might just be too late… It might be your last breath …last breath on earth. Yesterday has settled its score, if tomorrow, never comes…

This is very true. No one ever knows when something terrible will happen, and then your mistakes can't be undone.
