HOW I SEE IT

Contributed by joe on Monday, 21st November 2005 @ 09:30:18 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

MY HEART HAS SO MUCH TO SAY
BUT IT'S ALWAYS THE SAME
THE SAME STORIES AND FEELINGS
I'VE TRIED SO HARD TO FORGET IN VAIN
MAYBE EACH TEAR IS A MEMORY FADING AWAY
ATLEAST THAT'S WHAT I TELL MYSELF
WHEN I LOSE AGAINST THE PAIN

HAVE YOU SUCCEEDED IN RIDDING ME
FROM BEHIND YOUR EYES
OR ARE YOU STRONGER THAN ME
AND CAN IGNORE YOUR HEARTS CRY

BUT FOR ME I'M WEAK
AND I TRY NOT TO THINK
I CAN'T TAKE YOUR FACE RIGHT NOW
THE SAME THATS BEEN HAUNTING
AND KILLING THE SOUND
OF ANYTHING ELSE THAT
SHOULD BE ECHOING INSIDE
TELLING ME TO LET GO
THAT YOU'LL NEVER BE MINE

BUT THROUGH FEELINGS OF SAME
EMOTIONS UNWANTED
A SENSE OF BELIEF
OF LONGING AND LOSS
THAT MAYBE THERE'S SOMETHING
A CHANCE AND PURPOSE...
JUST FOR US
