|
Love spirals like fire down your heart,
it burns as it twirls
and cauterizes as it stops
Love shines sharply as the Monday morning sun,
it blinds at first
then it lights your sight
Those cold lonesome nights take fire
as you and a loved one, cold on a couch
infront of a fireplace take place
Hummingbirds hum the tune so silently sung
as seaside painted pictures are hung
on the walls of our leaf-plastered home
Delicate as a diamond array,
old dust covered pages of the Bible are read
and we are provided vision of our path we are to head,
together, not alone, we walk this oval-river-stone covered grass path to home...

| Am I the only one that commented on this poem? I can't believe this. Bravo, I loved this poem, I loved the words you used through out it and the feelings that may have been expressed. It made me happy, it lightened up my heart and it was just beautiful. SLipSiX. |
