Two Decisions That You Won't Understand

Contributed by desolated_denial on Sunday, 20th November 2005 @ 10:03:00 PM in AEST
Topic: abstract

Tires tread on the borderless road
Time fleets by as the casual walker strides
My mind escapes, once more for the morning run
Only to return to me when my eyes turn to sleep
The friends are fiends with the most beautiful wings
And their words of advice only walk through my heart
A heart is a mind with more blood
The blood that could make the world of difference
I know what I should do, but I don't know what I could
Would you think me a bad girl?
Or just a bad person?
White powder to cover all of my lies
And a hint of green to show the fake beauty
Throw on the rainbow colored wrist guards to restrain me
And the other wrist holds black leather to show my decision
I have aliens dangling from my ears ... do they make you smile?
My mind is still not at ease,
despite all of my feeble attempts
Situation after situation on the silver screen,
reflects only at the permited hours
Do you understand my thoughts
Should I go slower?
I can't, my mind never sleep ...
Only when I am asleep
Will my mind ever be free.
It never mattered, I still have two decisions left to make
The should and the could
What would you do?

There's honesty in this, there's imagery that better captures you than even a picture could...

I don't know the answer, I can't even answer my own questions, but I do hope love is more than just a good word to you, and I hope that it can be enough of an answer for you.

This is, in my opinion, the best poem you've ever written, I see you typing it, I feel you meaning it, it is more than just a collection of words and phrases, it exists within it's self and in this, it has meaning, bravo...
