Clumsy fingers grasped desperately,
Thinking not into what would lead,
The selfishness and greed exceed gradually
A need that must be fulfilled
The target achieved
The goal scored many times now,
A trophy once paraded to all,
Its old now, the crowds have seen it before
A limp hand laying lazily in mine
A cunning knowledge that it won’t be let go
The fear that can be sensed like blood to a shark
Spreads stagnantly up your nose.
An understanding that I have been wounded before,
Just don’t hurt me yet,
The olds wounds still sore
