Bitter

Contributed by seci on Sunday, 20th November 2005 @ 12:58:54 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

like a wading bird with a strange cry
Who's going to comfort me and wipe my eyes
i've been down the same path almost a hundred times before
the stupid thing is, how could i keep going?
how could i let someone invade my privacy and let them into my door
they always say that you will someday learn from your mistakes
but the question is , have i learned from mine
because all that i have learn is to give and they take
why trouble yourself into this world of confusion
trying to paint a picture, but only what lies there is a blank box with no illusion
trying hard to make someone love you
so therefore they pretend
they hurt you, and like a dark tunnel, they will laugh and will never help you through
the game from there never ends
they ask why no smile?
why smile when you are no longer happy
no longer know what the word happy means
maybe because you never felt happy inside
maybe because they used you up and took everything including your pride
blocking all of this pain like it doesn't really matter to me
maybe it want show
maybe my face want never show that glow
but its had at times
this way is a way i don't want to be
i loved and i loved and i loved
i tried and i tried and i tried
i cried and i cried and i cried
still loving , still trying, and still crying
and the question is will i ever learn
i know soon he will leave to love her
never me
so therefore the next man who comes around , i know it will be hard for him to love me
hard for him to touch me
hard for him to know me, because i am so damn bitter

Seci, it's good to see a new post from you...This seems very heartfelt, and it's certainly loaded with raw emotions (!) I noticed a couple spelling errors (want instead of won't...), and typing in all lowercase gives this an unpolished look, and feel...It's worth it to take the extra couple minutes and type up a post properly. I still think you have a knack for writing though. Your poetry is always very emotive, and tough in content...Keep it up!

There will be time, you will prevail in the "love" section.!
Just keep the head, lifted high.........Put a smile on the face, and think wonderful thoughts. They are "out" there...............We all have someone, no matter how far, or even if we havent met them.! Time is the KEY!
