Icy Wind Floats Through a Broken Window

See that old chair
Crouched in the corner, so silent and still?
See it sadly sag under the weight of the air.
Tattered, scratched, old.
Remember.
Dare you ever sit on it?
Reveal the cold memories
These haunted walls cannot speak for fear.
Pain, misery, tears.
Weep.
Are you happy
now I've finally gone
to a far and distant place?
"Yes, no, maybe."
Regret.
Do you recollect me at all?
Cold, bland English summers spent in harmony,
On the beach of human desires.
Remember. Weep. Regret.
See.
You're not as happy
As they think you are.

Great style of writing. I like the stanzas come together at the end and then you end it with a very poignant line.
Good write, job well done.
