I love you.

Topic: LovePoetry

I love you.

You are the candlelight that flickers in my eyes.

I need you.

soft flowers in an orchard of black ashes

When I sit lethargic and apathetic
I can feel you drawing your fingers down my arm,
kissing my neck, cheek... lips...
Pulling me to my feet with a loving smile
embracing me and supporting my weight
whispering in my ear how you love me
rocking me back and forth
and drawing patterns in my back with your fingers
singing in my ear...

You put soft music on and ask me to dance
tell me you don't know the steps;
I'll have to lead.
twirl around me with your hands in your air
and a iridescent grin of sweet angel's sighs.

and come close to me again to put your arms around my neck
snuggle your hips into mine
smile with all your teeth
and put your forehead to mine
bite my bottom lip teasingly
though I know you relish it
rub your little button nose against mine
and give me fluttery butterfly kisses with your eyelashes
squeeze me tightly until i can feel your breasts noticeably against my body
and stare into my eyes to marvel at their wonders
taste my tongue and my lips as i can't help but do the same
feel my arms caress your body
see a smile in my eyes
feel anguish melt away
regretfully

because sometimes it feels good to feel bad
although i don't know why
something defined to cling to
Joy always seems to threaten
to leave you escalated
and gravity begins your rapid descent.

But my direct dejection
cannot coexist with your perfection,
angelic lips and honey'd hips
breathing life back into mine

Your lips haven't left mine;
you're breathing for me.

your fingers caress the back of my neck softly
explore the forests of my hair with breathless reveries
eyes are closed and you can only feel
my tongue and my hands
holding you to my body
with trembling pressure.

a sparkling tear crawls down my cheek
you can taste it on my lips
your stomach and your heart
triple backflip to a pancake

...hold me even tighter, Querida...

crush my ribs eternally
warm my body with your heart
and tender breath.

(love me as if)
(i cannot love myself)

((hold me as if))
((i cannot stand))

(((speak to me as if I have no words)))
(((to adorn your captivating beauty)))

Keep me
as a treasure you'll never hide...

Hold my dripping corazón in your hands
as mine are trembling with yours

...Darling...

Whisper my name upon the winds as a half-remembered melody...

~Querida~

Love me as if I were your last.

...gosh...Love is such a huge thing for us humans...this...your poem...grappled with it in parts like a ballet and in other parts like mud-wrestling in some old country bar...you're right about having a relationship with pain and sorrow...trusting it more than joy and happiness...someone said a person starts dying from the moment of conception...must have been a half-empty pessimist...hey...I could have said it...I didn't, though...got to go...

...nice poem...

WOW.

Ummm...have I read any of your work before?!?! If I have, and I forgot, I will most certainly remember in the future! You express yourself with such depth, and clarity...Everything about this piece was wonderful! The style, concept, usage of bold lettering, italics, punctuation, wording, EMOTION! Very well done. So much feeling, I love it!

~Querido...

I love you, too.

Speechless and breathless... but when is it ever not that way? May you realize that you harbor the same beauty that you so vividly describe here...

I will never hide such a precious treasure...

I will never stop whispering your name with blossoming roses...

Always know that my arms are embracing you protectively, my heart is yours, and I cannot thank God enough... for you. I love you, Lane. Para siempre y con todo mi corazon, Querido. Stay beautiful. Stay you. ^_^

Till forever ends and eternity begins,

Tu flor de amor,

~*Stephanie*~

P.S.- And you are my last, cheri.
