A Dream of Blood

Contributed by DesolantDreamer on Thursday, 17th November 2005 @ 04:03:11 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Licking the blood off of my hands
I grin down at the sight
My eyes, red like the stained walls
My sword, my soul
Jutting out of his mangled corpse
His screams still echoing
Satisfaction flowing through me
Like heat massaging every fiber of my being
Malice and bloodlust
A need to kill embedded inside me
Yanking my sword from the ribs of the dead
I walk out into the shadows
Like a tiger
Awaiting my next prey
She walks into the scene
Her screams are sure to attract more
A bloodstained grin painted on my lips
As I jam my blade into her
Relishing the pain, the blood
Smirking down at the two mangled, twisted frames
I paciently wait for their screams to reach the ears of others
So that my ecctesy can continue

That was definitly dark...and well written. It reminds me of someone...but I don't know who. *shrugs* possibly someone from a book. I really liked that poem. It was very good. Keep it up.
